Great show again! Keep playing those great indie artists and thanks for being great supports of indie music. If the world had more indie supports like the two of you maybe there would be a lot less “POP IDOL” crap that dumbs people musicial tastes down!

Excellent show! I quite liked the Rosie and Eef songs.
I’m still stuck on Sesame Street, too, and I totally remember ‘Meeelk, Mee-ilk’! Addie, your rendition was hella sweet.

Agreed. World Cafe Live is probably the best live music venue in the city right now. I’ve been three times and love it.

Glad to see (hear) you guys are back!
I got a real chuckle when you mentioned “Precious Moments” — that totally brought me back to childhood. (I hated those, which put me in the minority at my primary school.)
And Addie, I totally agree with you re: Gael GarcĂa Bernal, right from the time I first saw him in Amores Perros.

look…
you should be more accepting of the things that you knit.
i mean… when god made the world and he wasn’t happy with how the corner was or whatever, did he unravel and destroy it?
ok bad example.
bad example.
look…
just uhm
if you don’t hold onto your knitting mistakes, then how will you uhm
no
ok screw it.
i’m like almost all the way through the podcast, i have to listen to the last 17 minutes or so. but ok nice one though yall.

which actually that reminds me, look you were too hard on dexter. i would contend that shows that uhm portray the righteous mission of a demented beautiful mind’s passionate manifest destiny are fascinating and one of the finest aspects of postmodern entertainment today! the dark hero, and the protagonistic villain… these relative roles are more mature than the sparkly bland two-dimensional characters of the past.
drink in the relativism!
