Hey, thanks so much for having me on the show! Two corrections because I was in a wine haze: the band kings of convenience is from norway, not sweden, and
saul bass died in 1996, before catch me if you can was made in 2002 –
i seem to be spreading a popular misconception that he did the titles
for that film. oops. inspired by would be more appropriate.
so i’m an idiot but not a total idiot! i had a good time, a+++ would
guest again.
Greetings from Rolla, MO.
First and foremost, the podcast was excellent. I enjoyed all of the music and side commentary.
Secondly, just because Seuss’ friends are from the internetz doesn’t mean that they don’t have feelings, Addie. You can’t go around making fun of us. At least get to know us so you can have more reasons to poke fun at!
Again, I enjoyed listening.
Keep it up!
shit, i cant even remember if i heard this episode so ill have to listen to it again
I finally caught up with the last two podcasts last night to entertain myself while I was working on a project.
I was very entertained.
And it was nice to hear a bit of Gregory, who I only know of through Seuss and Addie and David, who flew gac over his own house (”hey, my neighbours have a pool!”).
I gotta get me down to Philly again soon.
i looked up several bands from this episode. i’m falling in love with the books. truly original, raw, inventive, experimental. can’t wait for the next episode. i’d like to get the media hookup if you guys are willing to send some to a neighbor state.
p.s. i’ve got your facebooks
